Lily: This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen!!
Marshall: That’s you?
Robin: Yes. I had one minor hit. I had to go all over Canada and sing this song in malls. For a whole year I lived off of Orange Juliuses and Wetzel’s Pretzels.
Slap Bet - S02E09 | Let’s Go To The Mall - Robin Sparkles
Somewhere back there in the dust, that same small town in each of us.
[Image Description: Background is several triangles in a circle like a pie alternating from true red, scarlet and black. A robin is sitting on his perch looking to the right.
Top Text: “THAT ONE LITTLE OLD LADY WHO TAKES FOREVER.”
Bottom Text: “REORGANIZING HER PURSE AT THE OTHER END OF THE BELT.”]
You know who this lady is. As soon as the transaction is completed and she has her change and receipt, she plops her bag down at the other end and has to put her bills in her wallet juuuust so and count out her exact change and put it in the change pocket and put her checkbook away and her receipt in a special pocket and fish out her keys.
Meanwhile, you are waiting for her to get it over with so you can ring up the next customer because you don’t want to be rude and just start sending stuff down while she’s still there.
Well, aren’t you just the pinnacle of maturity?
If you think that I could be forgiven…
I wish you would.
